I would say more like 1 9/16” But we all know hole drills don’t come in this size, so I had to rem it out a little. This is ok because it doesn’t show when you are finished. Hopefully this will move air in a musky smelling closet.Very easy to install when hole is done. Sturdiness is remarkable considering it’s hard plastic. The filter seems unnecessary unless you have lots of pet hair.
