With that said, I have not verified how hot it actually gets (in degrees F), but I did notice that my pancakes turn out perfectly when I set the temperature at 250 degrees F. The instructions for the pancake mix that I use call for 375 degrees F. Based on my experience, I would suggest to start with a lower temperature setting and raise the temperature if needed. This will get you comfortable with the device regardless of the accuracy of the temperature settings, and prevent overcooking or burning something in the process. **Q: Looking to purchase the drip pan only. Is that an option?** A: I found an old ash tray at a thrift store that worked great under mine for years after mine broke **Q: can i cook meat like steak or chicken breast?** A: I guess you could cook steak or chicken on this griddle ## Frequently Bought Together - Toastmaster TM-203GR 10x20 Griddle, Black - Silicone Spatula Turner Set of 3, Beijiyi 600°F Heat Resistant Cooking Spatulas for Nonstick Cookware, Large Flexible Kitchen Utensils BPA Free Rubber Spatula Set for Egg, Pancake, Fish, Burger - BLACK+DECKER Electric Skillet, Variable Temperature Control, Nonstick Cooking Surface, Dishwasher Safe, Tempered Glass Lid, 12"x15" --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/95200661-toastmaster-electric-griddle-10-x-20-inch-nonstick-indoor-pancake](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/95200661-toastmaster-electric-griddle-10-x-20-inch-nonstick-indoor-pancake) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-11-04*
