They were pretty easy to install and look great in the hallways. I've been using them with led bulbs, which were admittedly hard to find ones that fit but seemed important given that heat may be an issue for this glass. I did have one that was nearly impossible to get the globe off (I ended up holding the glass between grippy slippered feet and wearing garden gloves to grip and wiggle the metal cover. Involved but determination and patience got it there). Aside from that snaffoo they've been great. No exploding glass or other issues. I wish I could get a 3rd! Review: WARNING - Beautiful but don't work!! - These lights are beautiful, exactly what I wanted. But they cannot be opened to add a bulb, making them worthless. We tried everything to open them - heating, cooling the fixture and then heating the metal, lubricants, rubber gripping mats, multiple people trying - nothing.
