For others out there who think this is a bit expensive, as I do, here's my solution to that. I buy the large dog package. I take each pill and cut it into 4 pieces, first in half, then each half in half. I give a quarter to each dog every 36 hours. From my experience, I can go a bit longer than 24 hours with it, but not a full 48. The fleas will be back. So 8pm on Tuesday, then 8 am on Thursday. I hope that helps people on here. Fleas are something I absolutely can't stand, and this does the trick. The package lasts me around 15 days. I didn't figure it out exactly, but more that 12 days by giving it every 36 hours. Oh, and on a side note, I cut each pill into 6 pieces for cats. 6 cats a day or 3 every 15ish days, you get the idea. This is more expensive than the liquid on the neck, but those just do not work for me.*One thing to add*if you wait longer than 36 hours to give the pill, I've noticed that for the first half hour or so, the fleas seem to go crazy and bite the dogs more.
