He has VERY large hands (some XL food gloves don't fit his hands) and they seem to fit better than other models we have tried. He did have some issues with his large hands/fingers touching the metal as he pulled and it caused rubbing that gave him blisters. With a slight hand adjustment he was able to use them without the rubbing but wasn't able to hold them the same as me. My small hands and my husbands medium hands fit just fine. I think these are going to be much more durable than plastic as we can keep the wood conditioned and the metal seems solid.
