And, they look better than expected. The packaging was excellent and all frames arrived in perfect condition.ProsThe frames I received are well constructed with tight, clean joints and an even finish. I have worked in a frame shop and gallery; and once assembled with a good mat and hung, it’s hard to tell the difference from a frame costing several times more. The back board makes it easily to swap out images when I want a change or a have a new display. I do not mind the plexiglass as I expect to replace with glass later when. I find it too risky to ship with glass or have in the presence of rambunctious children, especially at a show or fair - if it breaks, the artwork is most likely damaged, or someone is injured. The plexiglass came bright with no scratches and installed clean by just removing the protective film. The included hanger system works, but for more security I did add eye screws and wire.ConsI believe the low cost partially stems from the fact that they are made of a softer wood, though it is tight grained. I would handle them with care since it seems they could easily dent due the softness.It is a somewhat tight fit when installed with the supplied backer board along with a mat and good quality backerboard. I plan to use a couple of these frames with UV glass and archival mats. But, I will close them with a framing nailer as I think the using the supplied back board with the added thickness of glass, matting, and backerboard will cause too much stress on the glass and crack it.All in all, I find these frames to be extremely affordable and make a great gallery presentation. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great high quality frames with plexiglass! *by M***F on July 30, 2019* Hi - I ordered two sets of these to display my photos in an exhibition. I have used many types of frames - these are of exceptional quality and win hands down compared to others in this price range - *I highly recommend*.Pros:- They frames look great, I was surprised by the high quality/great design of the product. I will buy again.- They are very sturdy and made of wood - definitely good enough for professional hangings.- They have plexiglass instead of glass which is great as most galleries will not let you hang glass (they are afraid the glass will break if the picture falls)- They are very easy to take apart and put together - a superior design.Con:- Smudge mark on the mats on one set - I ordered two sets, one set was perfect. However, on the other set (each set has two frames), I noticed a little smudge on the white mats. With close inspection, I realized it was from the protective plastic film that covers the plastic - the film has some recycling triangle recycling icons on it and it looks like it transferred to the white mat. I rubbed it off with a clean gum eraser and that solved the problem. I only mention it here so if others have this issue, they can resolve it - use a clean gum eraser. I am hesitant to even mention this one-off issue as was easily resolved and it only occurred on the one set - the other set was fine. **I still highly recommend this product and will definitely buy them again.** ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Super! *by A***S on May 22, 2019* For the money these are the best frames. As an artist/photographer I've tried every variation of inexpensive frames and these by far outshine all of the rest. Solid wood instead of particle board or molded plastic, excellent clear plexiglass that's wrapped on both sides for protection prior to installing it into the frame, wood backing instead of cardboard and although mounting hardware is included I prefer eye hooks and wire and since the frames are solid wood it was easy enough to screw in the eye hooks. I'll definitely stick with these frames from now on and I plan on buying different sizes also.
