This screen looks like it is OEM and it was made by Apple. I did not have any problems installing the screen although there are no instruction how to install the screen but if you go to iFixit dot come you can find a step by step picture guide there. After installing the I turned on the phone the screen was flicking and distorted but after holding the Home and Power button which reset the iPhone the screen worked perfect. So if you have that problem just reset you iPhone by doing that. The screen fit prefect on my iPhone 5. I would recommend this screen and you should buy it and don't worry about the other reviews they must did not do something right because it is easy to install. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Product!!! *by R***. on May 17, 2014* The item arrived in a timely fashion and packaged in a professionally. I purchased this part to fix a friend's broken iphone. The screen brightness, color saturation, and touch sensitivity are identical to the original display. I am not sure about what other people are referring to with regard to screen brightness. They must have not attached the flex cable connectors properly during the installation. You should hear a click when the connect seats correctly on the contact points. The only problem i had with the part was putting the lcd back into the iphones metal frame. Took a little muscle but i was able to get the display back in without damage to the lcd. A trick i used was to get most of the display in..and flip the phone over so the lcd lays flat on the table and slowly apply pressure to the back casing and at the corners until the lcd fits in flush.
