I bought my pan about 3mths now and its works well. The pan is very well made and the non stick is very good. I was worried the griddle lines wouldn't show on the food but this isn't the case. I've used it to fry pork & lamb chops, salmon, vegatables all came out well. If i had to purchase again I just wouldn't buy the white base because it shows every scratch from the hob. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Griddle Pan - Disappointed using with induction hob *by G***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 19 July 2020* I bought this to be able to sear food for both the look and the flavour. To achieve this you do need to bump the heat up - it cooks food at a lower setting but I've found you need a high heat to sear effectively. The pan comes with a generic leaflet applicable to their full range on pans saying to cook on a medium heat only - but this is a griddle pan right? Wrong. The bottom of this pan has a slightly stippled finish and like the sides of the pan it is coated in white 'something'. Cooking on a high heat has caused this white surface to break down - after first use on a high setting - and to leave a clear stippled pattern on the glass surface of the hob. Took ages to clean it off. Since then have been cooking with a sheet of baking parchment between the hob and the pan. This works - but who wants to do that every time they cook? I am looking for a replacement. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Brilliant Pan *by R***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 July 2020* Excellent pan. Very sturdy, has a good weight to it but not too heavy. It looks, feels and performs like an expensive pan, justifying its price. Nonstick properties are excellent and safe. I still use healthy fats to cook with though as a personal choice. The pan is easy to clean, depending on what is cooked, sometimes a dry paper towel is enough but we also use the dishwasher for heavier use, even though minimal effort is required in the sink to clean it. Heat distribution is good, certainly better than most thinner, commercially available pans but maybe not as good as a traditional cast iron pan (which are heavier, leach chemicals, have hot handles). Nice ridges in the food when cooked. Handle is well insulated and doesn’t get hot. Very pleased. Certainly won’t be rushing out to get a Tefal anytime soon!
