High nitrate and phosphate fuels algae growth and may negatively impact invertebrate or coral.Using BioMaxx Plus BioPellets inside a fluidized filter (media reactor) will help to achieve maximum results and efficiency. Use 0.5 to 1 liter of pellets for every 125 gallons of water. Starting with a low dosage and increasing over time is preferable to beginning with a higher dosage. Be sure to rinse the media before use.Instructions 1. Fill your fluidized media reactor with the appropriate amount of AquaMaxx BioMaxx Plus BioPellets.2. I am glad I did. I use nopox on my other tanks, and forget to dose sometimes, or don't remember, and dose twice. I put this in a reactor, and it does everything without having to remember anything else. It takes very little maintenance. I started out at 1/2 the recommended dosage, and went to the recommended dosage after 2 weeks. After that, I check it once a week to see if any more needs added. My nitrates have been steady just under 2, and phosphates at .005. I have a decent bioload, and feed heavy. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Just okay.
