Because I do not want to use the Powerbond. It is not MC4 is?** A: I got one of these panels about 18 months ago and the adhesive is serious, which is good for me onto of my RV. Once you put it down it is DOWN for good. I think you could use screws outside the panel and secure the panel with small very sturdy bars or plastic or thin metal and run those bars over the edge of the panel thus not penetrating the panel itself. You could do this perpendicular to the length of the panel at several spaced locations and lose only a negligible amount of panel surface area being in the sun. With my next panel this is what I intend on doing. This panel is great and I run it through a MPPT controller than converts it back to 12vt to charge my battery bank. I do not own this company or have any interest in it but think a good product is a good product. It works for me and this one, being advertised, has the solar connectors on it already, the first one I bought did not, just 2 wires positive and negative. This is also about 50 dollars less than the first one I bought. I want to repeat, the adhesive is aggressive and will stick to what you put it on. Do not expect to move it once it's installed with the adhesive surface under the plastic peel off. Good Luck. **Q: Are wire connectors included for panels currently being sold and if so, what type are they? mc3 or mc4** A: The panel I was shipped had one male and one female MC3 connectors installed at the terminals. They are non-locking (not MC4). Lead length is about 18 inches. **Q: Can this be used to charge an electric car?** A: If one of these produced 1 kWh per day on an electric car, and you didn't use your car much (like me), you could in 5 days recharge a Prius or Crosstrek which has a 7.9kWh battery and depletes to about 3 kWh before shutting off the electric mode. **Q: Does this panel use mp4 connection or mp3 ones?** A: Mp3 ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Just what the Doctor ordered *by P***L on June 20, 2019* These tested 48 violts no load. Under load they perform at rated values. They arrived well packed and in good condition. They are Rugged. Accidentally drove my truck over one with no damage. Still performs at rated specs. They mount easily with the glue backing. I have 14 of them kicking out 78.4 amps @ 1904 watts. This has seriously helped out with the electric bills.They are a little un-wieldly being so long, but one person can install them. I do plan to acquire more in the future, but next I am putting up some wind turbines. I prefer verticals but I got a super deal on a marine horizontal turbine that I had to get it. I have room for about 10 turbines so at 500 watts that is a truck load of energy. It would balance out my system.If you are into alternative power these panels are an excellent addition or start to your system. ### ⭐ Not east to install *by K***R on April 21, 2019* Not easy to install. Prepare for an hour peeling plastic from tar ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy, portable, powerful. *by J***Y on August 1, 2018* 3 years of use (and some abuse) and they're still crankin' out power. I've moved many times and appreciate that I can simply roll them up and store them, then unroll and start juicin' the batteries. I like that they're not nearly as fragile as hard panels. Easy to clean. Not too heavy. Right now I have 3 of these charging a bank in a temporary setup; they're laying totally flat on a board with the ends folding over the edge; not an ideal angle or efficient setup. They're also constantly covered in a thick layer of dust. But I'm still getting 300+ watts in full sun!
