They appear to be dried out and are cracked. We have not submerged in water and my son has barely used it so the wear and tear is def a lot considering how little it’s been used. I have not had this item for a month and already the clasp is loose and doesn’t close all the way. My son is able to easily pull it off his clothes. Overall the idea is nice but the quality is not and I would not waste my money on this as it’s not worth the price.
