It is a very clear and nice book to work with on my '96 Road King. I've bin doing some work with it already, if you take it step by step its very clear. Nice illustrated with pictures and drawings, and every aspect of the bike in different chapters. It works for me, and if your a bit of a handymen it could work for you.

I wouldn't bother with the Haynes equivalent manual, it's far too general by comparison. This book has excellent details of individual model differences, with detailed instructions on almost any task you might encounter and useful tips throughout. Highly recommended.
