It isn't awful; however, I won't go out of my way for this one. Unfortunately, what's inside is basically just glorified trail mix without the raisins, not the amazing sense of "Wow!" proclaimed on the box. It's an OK product, but super-crunchy and a bit too salty and not chocolaty enough for me. The size and contents of the snack clusters varies wildly and that means you may get zero chocolate, or only a single chip per snack cluster. In my opinion, they need to up the chocolate ratio slightly (by at least +10%), because when I see the word "chocolate" on the box I expect to get some in every bite. Adding raisins could also help the sweetness factor.Snacklemouth was certainly cheap enough at my local food coop to take a chance on it, but I won't be buying it again. That being said, if you're a trail mix fan (I'm generally not) and your taste runs more toward salty than sweet, by all means, give this a try.WARNING: The box, while fun for adults, may frighten or disturb small children.
