Review: Best Brush Ever - This is bar far the best brush for my thick, coarse hair. My hair tangles easily & breaks if I try to brush it out to quickly, but not with this brush. It gets the knots out effortlessly & evenly brushes out my strands with minimal to zero breakage. I definitely recommend this item for long and/or thick hair. Am going to order one for my teenage daughter as well! : ))

**Q: Is this brush ok to use with a blow dryer?**
A: It's fine to use with a blow dryer. It isn't really a styling brush. It great to detangle,  but as a straightener it doesn't grip the hair very tight. I love mine.

**Q: How does this brush compare to the 1998 paddle brush?**
A: The nature of manufacturing Large Bamboo Paddle Hairbrush was being through a bespoke manufacturer and has not actually changed a lot. It was a wooden handle brush with plastic quills glued into the base.
The wood has moved from Beech back in 1998 to Bamboo and the quills are now nylon.
