The driveshaft needed U joints from the beginning, but I got about 10,000 miles out of it before it got really noisy and vibey. The bolts were rounded, and looking at other kits, there werent all of the parts needed for a complete rebuild. I was able to turn that junker shaft with no zerks into a fully serviceable shaft in just an evening. The CV joint came with 2 flush zerks which was useful since the U joint closest to the transfer case is aligned in such a way that the nipple zerk interferes with the rotational angle and broke off. I was able to extract the zerk leftovers and reinstall the flush zerk that is serviceable with the needle tip grease fitting. Now my XJ drives nice and smooth! Will buy another kit to rebuild my front shaft when it isn't winter. Review: Great kit for my Cherokee - Bought this kit and it had everything I needed to do the job. Just make sure if you have a lot of rust to spray the snap rings down the day before with some PB blaster or WD 40. Only needed a helping had towards the end with putting the last cap on.
