**Q: Does it sting when applied to a new, open cut? If so, is it tolerable?**
A: Hmm, it never stung me when I applied it to my cuts (but they were minor).  I'm guessing that it shouldn't sting too bad since it's an ointment and doesn't have any alcohol base in it.  In fact, ointments are suppose to be soothing not stinging.

**Q: What kind of expiration date now?? Please**
A: My product had 17 months left from the time I ordered until expiration.

Poly means more than one and so this excellent healing ointment protects tiny and large wounds from many different germs. so the wounds don't become infected. Excellent for tots and all ages. Helps wounds heal and stops pain too. I like it better than Neosporin as it covers avoiding more possible infections.
