(I was very happy about that, because if it did not I would have sent it back just as fast as it came!)The only reason I am giving them 4 stars out of 5 is due to the fact that now I can not put an Xbox game disc in and play the disc, (though I must concede I might have another problem, which may not have anything to do with A1store, and I don't really use the disc to play games anyway, so it really does not bother me too much.)Would I order from A1Store again? Hell yes! ### ⭐ Broken, static ball was already removed. *by K***R on May 5, 2015* When I received this item, the soldering ball was already removed and it did not work when I installed it. Never got to put my soldering iron skills to the test. Sad face bear. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works just like OEM *by A***E on May 24, 2014* My old laser had been getting really glitchy and not working as well as it should with certain frames being 'burned' into the background until I would hit a new checkpoint where it would disappear. Got this new one in and it works great. Clocking it was pretty easy so long as you have a DVOM. If you have no idea how to do soldering, clocking/POT tweaking, DVOM testing, or electrical connections I would NOT recommend you attempt this on your own. It has to be set precisely in the POT tweaking. Too strong of focus and you burn the laser out in 15 minutes and all that work will be for naught. Too weak of focus and you'll never get it to read discs. IF YOU HAVE NO ELECTRICAL COMPUTER BACKGROUND, THIS IS NOT A JOB YOU SHOULD TRY. YOUTUBE IS NOT A GOOD TEACHER. Otherwise the laser works great and no more weird 'burnt' images anymore. It's a bit loud but that's because the disc tray is open. I just have the magnet holding the disc on the tray. Decent price, works great, good stuff. Remember, this is NOT a project for a "oh yeah I'm so boss at everything" teenager.
