Easy to assemble. If you have the wider wood fence you do need to use 2 straps per pot - but it came with twice as many straps as pots so that was no problem! We have recently had 70 mph winds and 9 inches of rain in a short time and the plants stayed secure and look great. I planted strawberries in a couple and they are growing well - if only the squirrels didn't get to them before I did! I have a set of three hung side by side on my deck railing. The water reservoir is not quite large enough for watering every other day in our dry, full sun environment with 3 petunias planted in each pot. If the petunias do well this year I will mostly likely purchase more planters for next year. I did substitute black nylon ties for the metal ones included with the planters. I was so happy I found them after a long search for something I could use. They are attractive, sturdy and should last many seasons. I did buy my own bag of 14" nylon zip ties to use in place of their stainless fasteners and they are the perfect length. Unfortunately, one of my sets had a cracked pot that must have occurred during shipment. I emailed the company and within hours they had credited my account and sent me a note of apology. I could not have asked for better service!
