While this product makes no such claim, it is a delicious, nutritious, organic food that should be in every baby's diet. Why you may ask. Because there is very good information available that babies exposed early to peanuts have a startlingly lower risk of peanut allergies than those who aren't, even in families with a STRONG family history of peanut allergy. While those families should consult with their healthcare provider first, most would support the practice of early peanut introduction. I ordered these for my toddler as a healthy snack option and was surprised to see her eat a whole pouch.
