Only se** A: Unfortunately I don't think you are doing anything wrong, this is exactly the result I get and why I have given up using it. Only se** A: I had bother with it to start with. I realised that if you over fill the jug it wont work properly. Take some of the vegetables out. Try again. I always use the smooth option. It works ok,when not overfilled. Good luck **Q: how long does it take to make soup** A: About 25 mins for smooth, and just over 20 for chunky. It's a good size for us. It's reasonably priced yet it sautees, which function is not on all soupmakers. To clean, you just add water and squeeze of washing up liquid to below the fill mark and blitz a few seconds. They provide a brush and cloth for awkward bits.The soup is delicious and it's really easy to use.Edit one year on still going fine. I saute veg in it first to soften before blending.
