Most double CD jewel cases the hinges open from the middle. I would thoroughly recommend these CD cases they are sturdy, durable and at a reasonable price. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars OK but not what quite what is pictured *by M***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 April 2014* This item arrived with one had a slight crack so the packaging hadn't quite done its job but they're perfectly usable. However... they weren't quite what was pictured. I was trying to replace some old compilation CD boxes and the ones in the image where what I was after. The ones delivered differed in two ways. 1) The picture shows them as completely clear whereas those delivered had a dark grey section to hold the CDs 2) The hinging of those delivered is on the spine, so its more like a book. I was trying to replace items with boxes as shown in the image, with two hinges.
