It's about a foot tall sitting down. Also, when the description stated that the stand has 3 positions, I expected some sort of ratcheting mechanism or similar to hold it in place. As far as we can tell, you just have to adjust teddy in the right position--there's not really anything built in to hold it in a position. Also, ours did not arrive with the bolster that fits between the bear's feet. Not sure whether this is no longer included or whether it was not included with ours. We purchased this to use with our son's leappad (leap pad?) leappad2? However you spell it, it fits fine and works well to hold the leappad up so my son isn't having to look down at it.Update: A replacement bear was sent that does have the bottom roll/bolster. There are magnets in each leg which hold the bolster in place. it works well for the leappad 2 that my son uses it with. You must line up the magnets for the bolster to stay in place.
