        			Each Rocker vacuum pump is maintenance-free, oil-free, and produces no air pollution. Incorporated thermal protection switches automatically shut down and prevent damage if ever overheated; simply turn it off, wait to cool, and resume operation. All pumps include the Prote Overflow Protection Cartridge (moisture guard) to prevent the pump from aspirating liquids or moisture and stop particulate intrusion. Pumps are CE listed, CSA listed, and have IP 30 protection.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is a good vacuum pump but don't expect it to vacuum much ...

This is a good vacuum pump but don't expect it to vacuum much below -80 kPa.  What is more the threads on the nipple and the threads that are tapped in the vacuum pump are tapered.  I had to order a nipple that was tapered on one end and had a standard pipe thread to adapt to my set up.  Description below.British Tapered Thread to North American Thread Brass Hex Pipe Nipple 1/8" NPT Male - 1/8" BSPT (R) MaleI realize that I am new to having to understand what I needed in my set up so I would advise those that are making a purchase like this for the first time to research the fittings that are needed to get your job done.  Every time I ran across this challenge I have been set back at least two days until I was able to purchase the fittings that I need to get the job done.If need a vacuum pump and need to ensure that you can get down to -90 kPa or lower then look at a two stage rotary vacuum pump.Four stars for quality of product.  -1 star for not suiting my needs.  I will keep this item as a back up for other equipment that I have that don't need a deep vacuum to operate.
  

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Little Pump

Great little pump, this is our third Rocker 400 and each has exceeded our expectation and functioned day in and day out without missing a beat. Low noise output and a reasonable base pressure. One is used in a 1-2 hour a day application and two pumps are used in an 8+ hour a day application.  I would recommend a primary water trap in front if there is a chance liquid could reach the pump. The price here is as cheap as we have seen.

We use this for laboratory aspiration.  It aspirates well and is much more quiet than our other aspirators.  Would recommend!
