The main reason is the bright hotspot at the centre of the beam, as this makes the B4M perfect for long distance illumination. There is a bright ring of light around the hotspot which illuminates the surrounding area.In the box, you receive:1. Spare O-rings to keep the torch waterproof in wet conditions (IPX-6 waterproof rating)2. A heavy-duty lanyard to prevent you from dropping the torch, but even if you do, it is drop resistant up to 1 metre3. A tough nylon holster with an elasticated compartment for a spare 18650 battery4. A Folomov 18650 high discharge battery5. Instruction manual6. Blaze orange multi-functional charging cable7. Folomov B4M torchWhat is particularly innovative about this particular model is the fact that you can charge the battery through the torch, without having to remove the battery. However, you can also charge other devices, such as your phone, using the torch as a power bank. I haven't seen that type of ingenuity before.With some torches, to prevent them from turning on accidentally, it is advised to half turn the tail. However, there is a smart lock feature. To unlock the torch, click the switch three times. To turn it on or off, hold the switch down for a second. If you want to switch between the 4 brightness levels, simply press once. To turn off and lock the torch, just repeat the steps. The button also serves as a power indicator, thanks to the integrated light.There are 4 brightness levels and 3 features:1.
