The linen liner worked ok, then I got rice flour to dust it with before I put the loaf in. Now it works fabulously and releases the dough leaving the loaf undisturbed.It looked beautiful and tasted the same，For the first use I wiped the inside of the banneton with a damp cloth then lightly sprayed the banneton with water and dusted with 1/2 rice flour and 1/2 AP flour. I heavily dusted the banneton with this same flour mix prior to first loaf proof. I only cover the top of the banneton with plastic during proofing (not the sides) so the air gets to the sides of the dough.. but does not dry out the top. Also I proof in the refrigerator. Highly recommend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great basket *by L***G on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on June 5, 2019* I have found lower priced bannetons need prep to remove piece bits. Just takes a little TLC when you first prepare this. I used a spray bottle with water and rice flower and bushed it off after it dried. Now when I use this to proof bread after the final shaping, I use regular unbleached flower. When I'm ready to put the bread in the oven, I gently loosen the sides and it dough comes right out.
