The light itself didn’t go bad, rather that tiny chip in the power line that I initially thought was a fuse. Installing the second one brought up another issue — one of the tiny holes in the back of it (mounts the bracket) was misaligned. I had to drill the bracket hole out bigger to get it lined up properly — what a headache. Now the laser line is vertical on the ground. There seems to be no adjustment. Unscrew the lens, re-screw, does nothing to resolve it. Rotate the light 180 degrees in bracket does nothing. The "laser" isn't ACTUALLY mounted, and rattles around inside the casing.... the casing that ISN'T SEALED FROM THE WEATHER. Yep, it will fail quickely, as it fills with water, and dirt....BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!There is an inline circuit board, inside a little box... but that ALSO isn't sealed, and rattles around so much that you can shift it to the point that BARE WIRES stick out the side. That is saying you can get it to stay closed.
