The instructions are in micro print so you will need a microscope or powerful magnifying glass to read them. There are no instructions about what the extra parts are for or how to use them. My phone has an Otter Defense case. The case gives my phone added bulk; apparently this selfie stick is not made to accommodate this added bulk. Putting the phone in the spring loaded holder is very awkward and does not feel secure. When you rotate the holder from the horizontal position to the vertical position it hits the tilting hinge and pushed the phone out of the holder. However, in order to use the holder I would have to put my phone off-sided so it is side heavy and out of balance. Every time I put my phone sideways - it would keep tilting. In good faith I cannot recommend this product. ### ⭐ Not meant to use with a phone case *by H***R on Reviewed in the United States on April 29, 2019* I got this for an upcoming trip and to use with my iPhone X that's in an Otterbox Defender Case. The case gives me phone added bulk; apparently this selfie stick is not made to accommodate this added bulk. I tried it out and at one point the spring loaded holder "spat" my phone unto the floor. Nothing was explained in terms of what each piece was for, and I still have yet to figure it out.Very disappointed and am considering asking for my money back, instead of going through the hassle of hanging on to it but never using it b/c it's so complicated.Also- when my phone is in the holder, the holder completely flips over, even if it's tightened. It doesn't hold up well at all.
