To check how good of waterproof it is, I actually poured a glass of water on it and waited for about 3 minutes. The water did nothing to it, the inside was absolutely dry. I don't know if there was more water or if I waited longer whether it'd leak, but I'd say that even with my little experiment, I'm happy with the wateproof abilities.
