**Q: how tall is this lamp?**
A: 51 inch tall at a 90-degree position,67 inch tall when fully extended.

**Q: Does this lamp simulate day light?**
A: I'm guessing you just mean a yellowish color'd light. In that case yes, it has three strips of led's that run down the light head. Two strips are white led's with the center strip a yellow. On the first color setting only the middle yellow strip is on giving off a nice "Sunlike" color. The second color is the yellow with both whites on. The third is without the yellow. And finally the fourth is the two white strips on max white. If you are implying as bright as the sun then yes, it is definitely quite bright.

**Q: What are the dimensions of the base?**
A: It has a small footprint with a sturdy heavy base but I don't know the dimensions. You can find that information in the DETAILS section of the offer.

**Q: Anyone bent and unbent the gooseneck daily for more than a year (as for a piano)?  Has the gooseneck proved to be durable over a very long time?**
A: Had this for several months and once I set the gooseneck for my piano I haven’t changed it.

Great piano light, not offensive looking either.

Wanted an adjustable unobtrusive, eclectic yet modern profiled, and flexible LED reading lamp for our family room area. Got the white colored lamp and it blends into our decor just perfect. When not being used it's hardly visible and almost disappears into the wall color. Really like the optional lighting scenarios and it's plenty bright when you need it yet can be adjusted lower if need be. The lamp is not heavy at all with a flexible small stand but sturdy. Easy to assemble and so far I'm delighted.

This is really nice, not cheap looking at all. The stand is sturdy. It's small and unobtrusive. The controls work easily at a touch. We got a white one, which is nice but hard to find.The light is quite bright and very adequate for reading or working, although not nearly as bright as a bare 12 Watt LED bulb. It's nice having your choice of color temperature.Assembly was very easy in a few minutes.
