They make it a doddle to move them away from the kneewall which intersects the 12/12 pitch roof (no headroom!) where they normally are placed. Enter OUR bedroom. We have a king-sized bed, black iron, with the expected 4 round main legs, two 1"/1.5" rectangular legs, and a half-dozen interior-under-the-bed 1" square support legs. It's heavy, and we needed to be able to pull it away from the wall when we make it up after a wash, since the head end requires some tucking of the excess sheet fabric, even though it's a fitted bottom sheet. It's heavy enough that while we could MAKE it slide, it would scratch the floor. So, having proven their facility and ease-of-application on the other two beds, we went for the next set! These cut easily (but only with sharp shears; they won't cut from the edges of the support legs). I lifted each different-size/shape leg and made a paper template by marking around the leg bottom onto a piece of scrap paper (throwaway mail envelope from a power bill!), and cutting it out, placing it onto the too-large circles, and cut to size and shape. I was able to get under the bed, lift the particular leg far enough to center them properly, and drop (well, carefully lower) the given leg onto the enthusiastic double-stick back of the cut-to-size pad. The bed, despite its weight, now slides easily on our floor, leaving no evidence of its passage. Our next use will be for our new dining table and benches, all with heavy 2.5" square tube iron legs. I repeat: only four pads. Buy a different item if you want more than four. **Q: Is 3 inches the diameter or radius of circle? 3 inches across from one side to the other side of circle?** A: 3 " is the diameter. **Q: is the backing easy to peel off?** A: Yes. The back is easy to peel off. **Q: Is the adhesive side white or dark brown like the felt side?** A: As far as I can remember, mine were light tan on both sides - there are 2 pictures on the website, one dark brown and one tan. The dark brown color is what we needed and the adhesive appears to be good. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Superior to other felt products I tried *by V***A on January 30, 2017* These little things are so awesome! Needed to put felt under EVERYTHING because we have new laminate wood flooring. Bought one bag of these circles, plus a roll of felt cut into a long strip and a pkg of 3x5 felt sheets from other sellers. Those others served some specific purposes, but these really stood out -- we ended up using them on almost everything! Superior adhesive, compared to the other products I bought, and much thicker and softer to the touch. Used up the first bag in no time (160 of them, remember!), and just ordered another one. Both times, they arrived quickly. Couldn't be more satisfied with this purchase, or this seller. Oh -- and remember that you can cut these to fit, too. I opted to use a series of these cut into half-rounds on a set of hollow sofa legs. End result looked like a flower. Like having this thicker padding on something that will be heavy and may move around slightly. But don't drag furniture across carpet with these on -- LIFT.
