These do have 3 layers of microfiber inside. I did cut one open to check. :D I also sewed it back up and use it in my rotation. These do not twist or move much at all during the day and I can trust them to keep me dry until I can get to a restroom if I sneeze and *OOPS!* or laugh and *OOPS!* or ... you get the picture right?I do not carry the wet bag they sent- I carry a fresh/clean pad in a quart size ziplock bag as well as some baby wipes in another quart sized ziplok bag in a cute little zippered bag that fits nicely into my purse. When I need to change the pad I simply take the fresh/clean pad out of the ziplock and put the used pad inside the bag and seal it up then back into the zippered baggie and my purse. I wash it when I get home.
