They are significantly easier to use than other chain brands I have used down the years.Snow socks may be OK for UK but they are not legally classed as chains in many countries. In all my visits to the Alps I rarely see Michelin Easygrip. The big plus point of self tensioning chains is you stop ONCE. Probably always a good idea to stop 300' down the road and check the wheels, but not totally necessary. Snow socks you have to stop minimum 2 times.NB it is essential to get the right dimension of chains for your wheels and before that get snow tyres. Check with your manufacturer, my car needed a specific wheel size to use with snow tyres. Lastly deactivate the ABS system if this is possible when driving on snowy roads. If somone has a sports car with very limited access to tyres and the wheel arch, think twice about any chains... --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/97475870-weissenfels-nm44020std002-m44-prestige-2-clack-and-go-snow-chains](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/97475870-weissenfels-nm44020std002-m44-prestige-2-clack-and-go-snow-chains) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
