I think this can be worn easily by either male or female. It looks great against my tanned skin.This cuff bracelet can be shaped to fit any wrist shape. For safety reasons, I like knowing that if the bracelet gets hung up on something strong, it will reshape and come off my wrist before my wrist comes off.I've never worn copper before so I'll update this review if I find that I experience any medical benefit. (Some say copper acts as an anti-inflammatory although I don't believe there is any scientific proof to that effect.)4/26/16 Update: Well, I guess the honeymoon is over. While I do still like the bracelet, there are a few things I hadn't thought through before like this is raw (not coated) copper and it oxidizes. That is, it blackens in color and turns your wrist blue/green making your wrist look bruised when you wear it all the time. I kind of like that because it is earthy and real. I've found that washing the bracelet with any liquid soap (bar soap didn't work too well) takes the oxidation off the bracelet and it shines like new again. The coloring on your wrist comes right off with soap and water too.
