My six year old wears 7-8t clothing (he's very tall but average weight). I wasn't a HUGE fan of how hard and inflexible these are, but I bought them for him as backyard sandals, since he loses and ruins sandals so much. My grandson loves them, but his feet developed blisters and abrasions all along the fabric sides and inside the thong areas also.
