I bought it for coffee not beer.** A: If you plan on drinking it within half hour, this would keep your coffee warm enough, if your looking to keep your coffee hot for an extended period of time, this is not the cup for you. Conversely, this will keep water with ice in it cold all day and even into the next morning when I wake up. I use it mostly for coffee tho.
