Stuff it in your pocket until needed and then just clip your NVGs in for a lightweight and stable option when a helmet is not needed. Packs down to practically nothing. Feels like wearing a baseball hat. Simple, adjustable, and breathable. Compatible will all current 3-hole and 4-hole NVG mounts (does not include NVG mount). One size fits all. Made in the US from US materials. Review: A great off-helmet NOD solution - This is far superior to the elaborate "skull crusher" rigs that are usually offered to support night vision off helmet -- easy to adjust, very snug, and quick to deploy. If I were humping over a mountain in NODs, using this would be a huge weight off my neck.
Review: Fits OK on a big noggin - This is a nice product and holds a PVS-14 pretty secure, you do have to buy a shroud separately but they are inexpensive. The only complaint is the straps could be a little longer for people with a slightly larger head. I can make it fit but it takes some work.

This is a nice product and holds a PVS-14 pretty secure, you do have to buy a shroud separately but they are inexpensive. The only complaint is the straps could be a little longer for people with a slightly larger head. I can make it fit but it takes some work.

Surprisingly comfortable. Not "comfortable for a skull-crusher", but genuinely comfortable. If you have the right amount of counterweight, this will sit on your head just fine- even without the chin strap. Everyone with night vision needs a skull-crusher of some sort, and this one cant be beat. This is probably the cheapest part of your NVG setup; at a quarter the price of a Wilcox mount. You wont regret it.
