Review: Works for me ! - I'm unable to take prescribed statins due to awful side effects. I read up on this and decided to give it a try. I started this at the beginning of May 2025. My cholesterol has been 8.9 for months, today I got my new results and my cholesterol is 6.4. I'm very happy with this as I've had no side effects that a higher dose statin give. **Q: What is the life on your product, how long is the expiry date.**
A: I last bought a bottle two months ago and the expiry date is Sept. 2023.

**Q: Is this product cintrinin free?**
A: There is no mention of cintrinin in the ingredients so I can only assume yes it is free.

**Q: How many tablets are actually in the bottle?**
A: There are 540 now because the ingredients have been reduced and the tablets increased from 180 to 540.

**Q: I have been reading we need 2.4grams per day to get results and not sure how many grams or milligrams of red yeast rice contain those pills? thanks**
A: It is the Monacolin K that is the key ingredient and there is 9.12 milligrams in a single capsule. I take 2 capsules a day, one in the morning and one at night and have had no side effects.

I haven't measured my cholesterol before and after but I believe these are strong effective pills. I believe this because if I take 3 tablets the next day I have sore muscles all over, feel weak and fatigued, with tingling in my fingers and brain fog, which I soon learned are all sides effects reported from statins. It's also possible to feel flushing (hot/red face) from the B3/Nicotinamide, unlike the previous tablets which had no B3. I will reduce dose to the recommended 1 tablet and hopefully avoid the side effects.
