I bought an aztac brand one from desertcart. It's all aluminum and one third the price of a deathgip clamp. There is a 1/4 20 threaded hole in the bottom of the clamps. Well the trigger stick comes with a little quick detach camera mount that has. 1/4 20 stud sticking out of it. Mount the camera mount to the bottom of you gun clamp and voila, now you can clamp you weapon into your trigger stick and have a quick,light and easy tripod. On the aztac brand clamp that I bought, there is a little base plate that you have to remove to access the 1/4 20 threaded hole. You can also buy a two "v" gun support made by primos that attaches to the top of the trigger stick it's call a two point gun rest and is available from desertcart. I'm going to figure out how to attach a aztac clamp to the front "v" of the two point gun rest. Then it will be perfect for my ground hunting sets with my crossbow.
