Processor (DAC) does a clean 92kHz/ 24b reproduction. I think this is a Saber DAC (Exactly what I wanted). Mine is Pre-amp and you can buy a lot of amp for the difference between the 2 versions. (WXA/ WXC)This DAC performs well enough to distinguish audio quality in airplay, Bluetooth, and 24/92kHz input sources. (Subtile technical distinctions with large audio quality and large enjoyment differences)II. Stable network device ( worth the difference in cost over a Ras-Pi DIY streamer)III. Good Yamaha supportIV. Plentiful input/ output optionsV. Highly customizableie. Gain for various inputs app menu and knob ‘behavior’ like easing into high volume settings, almost ‘nanny’ settings to help protect ears from surprise starts... without the denial of higher power level selection.VI. Very Good App on iOS (stability)VII. Works in a vertical configuration for bookshelf speakers (volume knob up OR down!)VIII. Very good WiFi network detection and stabilityCon:I. a complicated (particular) set up [ 8.1/10 for challenging 6.8 if you have done one before]II. Bad Accessory for Less support (defaulted to Yamaha)IV. I could hear the Yamaha network support rolling their eyes at me when I realized my set-up fault.(Full disclosure): I made the set-up 3x harder by leaving the GHz antenna in the box. MUST have local WiFi connection to START the set-up.V.
