Review: Quality tools- great for engaging kids in family chores - Very well-made tools. We purchased these last summer sometime and I'm just getting around to writing a review. My 2 year old toddler loves grabbing these to "help". He'll join us cleaning the chicken coop, working in the garden, and shoveling snow - of course at age two he's mostly just stabbing around, but he feels a part of things and that's what's important! He loves knowing the tool names, colors and being able to care for and use his own set of tools his size- along with a two-wheeled wheelbarrow his size purchased elsewhere. They keep him busy outside. I'm looking forward to him using them again this spring and training up my future farm hand!

**Q: Are these tools an appropriate size for a six-year old, or are they too small?**
A: Depends on the size of your 6 yr old. My daughter is about 38 inches tall and they are a little big for her. I would say they would be perfectly sized for someone around 45 inches tall or so.

**Q: What is the material: plastic or metal?**
A: It's wood with metal and rubber/hard plastic for the handle.  We bought them for our 2 1/2 yr old but my teen boys, my husband and myself have used them too!  We love them!

**Q: Do the colors of the tools match the picture or are they random?**
A: Yes they do. I was very impressed with the quality of them. I also received a very nice email from the company thanking me for my purchase. I'm planning on ordering another set for my other granddaughter who loves to garden.

**Q: Why does this product have a ca prop 65 warning? do the plastic handles have phthalates?**
A: I don’t know why they have a warning but the handles are made of wood and the shovel, rakes, and hoe are metal. They are sturdy and the perfect size for a 2 to 4 year old.
