The pickup was microphonic and had a lot of screeching feed back. The OriPure has been a great replacement. I do feel maybe some articulation was lost going to a potted pickup, but the guitar was nearly unplayable. So for the price, I definitely cannot complain. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great pickup for the price *by G***N on Reviewed in the United States on May 19, 2019* I wanted to upgrade the pickup that came with my lap steel. I wasn't sure that this one would be an upgrade (based on the price) but I loved the color and figured that it was worth trying. Turns out it's a great pickup and it looks so much better than the original. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great P90 *by J***N on Reviewed in the United States on October 2, 2019* delivers a solid and pure retro sound ... will purchase again --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/98184719-oripure-alnico-5-soap-bar-pickups-p90-pickup-electric-guitar](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/98184719-oripure-alnico-5-soap-bar-pickups-p90-pickup-electric-guitar) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-18*
