They offer severl different models, I chose this one simply because of the Hp and the on and off swith on the head unit. That is not a normal option in these hanging flex shafts, but I wanted it. This was when I leave the shop I know it is powered off. The foot pedal works as it should, the more you press down with your foot the faster the shaft spins. You can adjust this by a set screw in the bottom of the pedel, so you can get it just like you want. I would suggest that you attach the pedal to somethin so it doesn't keep sliding around, it is plastic and although built tough, it needs something to attached to it so it stays put. I really like this machine and think it will last a very long time, comes with extra brushes, so you can rebuild them when needed. That has to be worth $20 alone!
