I wear exclusively toe socks and wear exclusively vibrams toe shoes. I wear socks with them because if you don't and seriously exercise, they permanently smell like a used sock.With that being said, on to the product. After having injini, fun toes, and numerous other brands, this is my go to. They have held up for without any noticable deterioration through hard use. Marathons and marathon training. Hiking the Alps and hundreds of miles of up and down hills. You will know this is remarkable if you have done it. Most of my socks, including injini, only survive a few months without holes.If you really want something that lasts, give a pair of these a try. Don't know what size they claimed to be, but I wear a european 39-40 shoe and I thought the fit was good, loose but not too loose.
