Installed in my Civic yesterday and the sound is very much improved. Looks better than I thought it would also. Install took 2 1/2 hours, but I am not a professional. Quality seems above average.EDIT March 14 2014- When using the speaker level inputs, do not connect the REMOTE turn on wire ( blue with white stripe ) The amp has an auto sensing capability that will turn on the sub when there is a signal from the speaker level input. If it is connected, the sub will turn itself on and off randomly. Also, the phase switch has turned out to be a little fragile. Still sounds great , just be aware .EDIT 2: August 15 2014 - This has been a good product so far. Did have to order a owners manual as I lost the original, Customer support was great. They are located in California, was actually able to call them . There is a review towards the bottom making some assumptions about the product. It does seem to be a class d , but so what. Sounds good , low distortion and loud. Especially for the price. Can't imagine not having it now. If I thought I could do a Youtube review I would, but who has the time. Worth it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sounds Good *by M***A on July 24, 2014* I took a chance with this one being that I had never heard of the Lynx powered sub before and I'm glad I did. It does have good clean bass. I don't set it to the max level because the mid level provides enough bass for my liking. Max level is a bit too much for me. I love the fact that everything comes with it and that this has a harness that only has to be snapped in, and that the power and ground cables come with the ends already attached. The fuse comes already attached to the power cable as well. I installed this in my Jeep Grand Cherokee and everything ran through the truck with no problem and the cables are long enough to get the job done. It is a light subwoofer, so it has to be secured so that it will not slide around. It does come with brackets and screws, and also comes with straps so that you can choose either one to help with keeping it secure; however, in my Jeep I had to use some hook/loop fastener tape to secure it due to the spare tire department being above where the sub is sitting, so I didn't want to just go drilling holes and mounting screws to secure this without interfering with the spare tire compartment. It's not a problem though, just wanted to add that info in case people want to secure a sub without having to use screws and brackets. I also purchased an extended warranty just to be on the safe side. So far, it has performed well for 7 months and I haven't had any problems with it.
