Even trying to put caran d'ache pencils into the sharpener I had to forcefully push to get them in. It works for Carbothello pastel pencils fine but does not get a super sharp point no matter how you adjust the sharpener. I had to make a video and take some photos of the results which I've NEVER taken the time or energy to record a video for an Amazon purchase before. But this...this is so awesome!
