I cut one of the bars probably an inch thick and squashed it about to make a disc shape, then after cleaning and dry the car I sprayed water on the car a rubbed the bar around, you know if it needs it as you can hear the friction then when I just glides you know that area is free from debis, I dried with a micro fibre cloth and wow the paint felt like new. Every now and then be sure to check the clay to see if it’s contaminated lots and fold over if nessesary and continue. My inch slice covered my complete car and afterwards I just rolled it around I’m my palm and still looks good for another use. Less expensive than some 'kits', and does a similar job. Cons - not very malleable, even when warm. Be careful where you store it between uses. Has a tendency to stick to anything. I kept it in an airtight box, sitting on a plastic bag. The picture shows one go of this clay on a 1999 MX-5 that's spent it's life up to now in London. Using a spray lubricant and one small piece of clay I worked the whole car over and shall do it again when I've recovered! This clay performed as well as previous products, I was not dissapointed.
