Th colour was richer and used a liquid beeswax as opposed to hard wax. Wood type was Beech ply. Review: A bright , deep shade of mahogany. - This dye is a really bright and deep colour. I am using it to enhance a light shaded mahogany used on a scale model boat, and I am pleased with the results. The reason for 4 stars is not a reflection of the quality of this product or of the suppliers/manufacturers but of the very small area I covered. I cannot comment on how good this product on large areas - but for me I am more than satisfied with the quality and delivery.
