First I got a tinted lip "oil" that ended up being a pretty much a lip gloss. Sticky and annoying (squeezy tubes ... why does ANYONE think those containers are acceptable for liquid/semi liquid lip products I'll never understand). Needless to say I was disappointed as that was NOT what I was looking for! And I'm not interested in buying high end stuff where the name and packaging makes up most of the price.So I found this, it sounded perfect (though annoying that it's a 2-pack at $22). Well, it's a lip oil, not a gloss, which is great. But it has no flavor/fruit scent and no tint. The packaging makes you think it's red, but see pics, it's just plain ol refined oil. Given that castor oil (not pomegranate) is the first ingredient, it smells and tastes like castor oil. Not the most pleasant scent, but after you apply you don't really smell it.I believe that it will condition my lips with time but to be honest, just buy a roller ball container, some cosmetic-grade oils and melt down a lip gloss/lipstick and mix it in and make your own. It’s completely organic which is a plus and the amount you get will last a while. This is a quality product.
