It has worked since the first time I have plugged it in. And on the plus side, I don't have to remove my iPhone case to plug it into the phone. (I had to remove my case to charge my phone with a different brand charger). I also like the texture of the cord, it's not like the Apple brand cord which I have ruined several of. Those kept splitting at the ends. I have only had this charger for about three weeks but it has met my needs.
