The pages are are not flimsy and I can use a fairly marker type pen without it bleeding through. The cover is sturdy and the binding is strong. I can press pages back and there is no cracking or warping. The color is bright and pigmented. The pen is great and doesn’t bleed, very smooth application. Also the clip for the pen fits perfectly on the book and holds the pen tight. I’ve been using it for a couple weeks pulling the pen out and it still holds tight, no stretching observed. I will most definitely purchase another one of these notebooks when the times comes. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cute and sturdy *by M***M on Reviewed in the United States on November 23, 2018* Please don’t get an expensive brand name journal. This is quite comparable for a fraction of the price. It’s cute, has thick pages and comes with a free pen and stickers to boot. Furthermore it’s a great size: not too small or big, you can throw it in your purse. I will definitely purchase again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Decent book *by G***E on Reviewed in the United States on November 5, 2018* I bought this book as a journal and I think it's a pretty decent book for the price. I got the Aqua color and I love the look and feel of it. The pen holder is removable which is handy because I can just slip the pen off, write and then reattach it. I find writing in the book with it still attached gets in the way of how the book lays and it's like trying to write over a small rock. I like that it came with a pen but I can't really use it. I started writing with it and after about a paragraph it started skipping like there were air bubbles in it. Maybe I just got a defective pen but it isn't a horrible thing. I just use my own. I use a mix of gel pen and ballpoint there is no bleed through on the paper with the gel pens which I am very happy about. The paper is thick but I can still faintly see that there's writing on the opposite side of it but unless you have paper close to watercolor paper that usually happens in any notebook.
